July is always a busy time of the year for the organisation. We took the opportunity to visit The Queen Elizabeth Home (QEH) for Children and the Princess Alice Hospital.
The Queen Elizabeth Home (QEH) for Children is a home for abused and abandoned children located in Tempe Grenada. It is a Not-for-Profit Charity registered by an Act of Parliament on the island of Grenada and was originally started in the 1950’s. The Home itself was built in 1964 and is the oldest such home on the island. QEH supports children of all ages who are in need of care. The Home is supported mainly by voluntary contribution.
Thanks to Mercedes Richards who volunteered for LMF. She is from Rangers Unit and attends St Joseph's Convent High School in Grenville.
Princess Alice Hospital Grenada
Princess Alice Hospital is located in the picturesque north eastern end of the island in the parish of St. Andrew’s and is the second largest hospital on the island.
Thank you for your support which enables us to continue with the work we do.
